Force Windows to Login Automatically After Logging Out with ForceAutoLogon

It’s possible to auto login to desktop or console in Windows operating system. However, after logging on to the system automatically, user can manually log off and logout from the system. In some system, such as computer that functions as public kiosk, there should be only one user account on the system that remains logged on all the time.

To enforce the policy so that Windows automatically logs back in again after any logoff, user must first enable the automatic logon feature. See the guide on how to enable automatic login in Windows XP or make Windows Vista automatically log on.

Then, run Registry Editor (regedit), and then navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Change the value for ForceAutoLogonn registry sub-key to 1. If ForceAutoLogon does not exist, create a new String Value (type REG_SZ) registry key with the value name as ForceAutoLogon, and then set its value data to 1.
After setting the registry value, system will automatically login again with the default user name and password account set in the registry entries. The ForceAutoLogon setting, when configured to True (1), effectively locks out all users aside from the one set as default user and password. However, it’s possible to break the automatic login with SHIFT key.

MOOD in English

In English, there are three “moods.” A mood is a way of using a verb to show the attitude of the speaker toward what he is saying. The Indicative mood expresses facts. All the tenses discussed in the Grammar Corner, Verb Tense section are in the indicative mood. The other two moods are the imperative mood and the subjunctive moods.

The imperative mood is used to express commands. Positive commands in English take the form of the base form of the verb:
“Give me a wrench.”
“Clean your room.”
“Read this report, then give it to the supervisor.”
“Send us your address.”
Negative commands are formed with “Don't” + BASE VERB FORM.
“Don't call me at work.”
“Don't be late.”
“Don't forget your lunch.”

I do not simply follow along with the textbook; I use variety to make grammar interesting and appeal to all the different learning styles. Sysprep Windows XP SP3 and Copying Administrator Profile

 

When you sysprep a machine you are basically wanting to clone the settings from that machine to another one. You also want it to copy those changes to each profile, correct? Well, in order for the sysprep to successfully copy over the administrator profile to the default profile for each user you have to add an extra line to the sysprep.inf file.

1. The first step is to download the Sysprep App which is included in the CAB file for Windows XP Service Pack 3 Deployment Tools. (Download Sysprep Tool) or expand from drive:\Support\Tools\Deploy.cab
2. Next go to the PC you are going to be sysprepping and create a folder on the root of the C: drive called Sysprep. Extract the contents of the deploy.cab file you downloaded to the sysprep folder on the root of the C: drive.

Sysprep for Windows 7 and Windows XP Professional

The following article was developed for using Sysprep with Windows XP Pro. Windows 7 has a very simple process built into the installed Windows 7 program. We follow this procedure when working with Windows 7. You may still want to review the procedures to use with certain models of HP/Compaq computers so that their images are compatible with other models of computers - check LBA assist vs Bit-Shift in the following descrition of Sysprep for Windows XP Pro.

Create a fresh install, license the computer, perform all updates, perform a system clean and defragmentation, check that all drivers are installed so that the computer would be ready to send to a client.

Right click on the start button - select Windows Explorer - C: drive - Windows - System32 - Sysprep Folder - Sysprep - Select System Out of Box Experience (OOBE) - Generalize - Shutdown Option - Shutdown and click Okay. The computer will run Sysprep to create an image of the hard drive. Be certain to copy the image to a server, another drive, a hard drive duplicator, etc. Do not start the computer and boot to the hard drive or the program will be reinstalled on the hard drive you just sysprepped. You can read the reminder of the article that refers to the system of copying drives but we no longer user an .ini file. The process is much, much simpler.
